Terms of Use
The following terms and conditions govern your use of the BelieversPress website (the “Site”) operated by BelieversPress (“BelieversPress”), a division of Bethany Press International, a Minnesota Corporation. By using any part of the Site, you represent that you understand and agree to these terms and conditions. These rules are designed to protect the BelieversPress community, the computer and communications systems of the Site, employees, customers, and users, as well as the BelieversPress business and its vendors. They are also designed to make your use of our Site a positive and secure experience. These terms may be changed from time to time by BelieversPress, and your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
Products and Services
A variety of products and services are offered by third party vendors on the Site. You acknowledge that BelieversPress does not offer and is not responsible for any of the products or services offered on the Site except for those printing and related services expressly offered directly by Bethany Press International. BelieversPress may in some instances process payments for products or services, but is under no circumstances responsible for the quality of or any damages related to such products or services.

The products, content, information, and services included in or accessed through the Site, are provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind. BelieversPress does not represent that the information accessible on or through the Site is accurate, complete, or current. BELIEVERSPRESS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO SUCH PRODUCTS, CONTENT, INFORMATION, OR SERVICES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. A link or reference from the Site to any other site does not constitute an endorsement of that site or any of its content or of the quality or acceptability of any products or services offered through that site. You are responsible for the use and compatibility of any hardware or software with the Internet and the Site. BelieversPress makes no warranty that any particular device or software, even if recommended by a BelieversPress agent or employee, will function properly with the Site.
BelieversPress does not warrant that: (1) access to the Site will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure; (2) any materials accessible on or through the Site will be free from viruses, worms, or other harmful components; or (3) you will be able to connect, communicate, or pass information to the Site or any other site on the Internet at any particular speed or throughput. You agree that BelieversPress is not liable for any damages to you that may result from a loss or degradation of access to the Site or any loss of materials or data you have stored on the Site. We recommend that customers regularly back up or download important information stored with us.
Use of the Site
You may not access or use the Site for any illegal activities or other purposes prohibited by law or to attempt to undermine, hinder, damage, or disrupt the hardware, software, or security of the Site, the Internet, or any other site. You may not: (1) knowingly upload or transmit any computer virus, worm, or any other transmission that has the potential for disabling or otherwise impeding the operation of the Site or any other facilities, equipment, software, data, or service connected to the Internet; (2) make an unauthorized entry to the Site or any other site, resource, or device connected to the Internet; or (3) violate any applicable laws or regulations that govern online activities.
You agree to indemnify and hold BelieversPress harmless from and against all loss, liability, damage, and expense (including reasonable attorney fees) caused by: (1) claims by any party for libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy, infringement of intellectual property rights including trademark, copyright, or patent rights, and unlawful access or alteration to private records or data arising from any information, software, data, or message transmitted or received by you through the Site or (2) any breach of these terms and conditions by you or someone under your control.
Forums
These terms and the BelieversPress Privacy Policy govern your use of the BelieversPress User Forum(s) (the “Forum(s)”). BelieversPress reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, effective upon posting on the Site. By registering as a user or using the Forum(s), you agree to abide by these terms. Any violation of these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your right to access the Forum(s).
The Forum(s) are a free discussion place where you can exchange information with other users, provide feedback to BelieversPress, and discuss your experiences in Christian publishing. Please note that the Forum(s) exist so that the BelieversPress community can interact and exchange publishing knowledge with one another and assist each other in the publishing process.
Registration
Registration is required in order to post to the message boards. BelieversPress will handle all information received from you in accordance with the BelieversPress Privacy Policy but does reserve the right to release information as set forth therein and below. When you register, you will also be asked to enter some personal information. Please keep in mind when choosing a user name and filling out your profile that whenever you post to a message board your user name, and a link to your profile and online status, will appear when you are on the forum. Your profile may display personal information.
In consideration of your use of the Forum(s), you agree that all information provided in your profile is accurate, true, current and complete.
Responsibility to create a positive community experience for others
BelieversPress is not your space, it is a community space. Preserving that community comes before your personal freedoms and agendas. BelieversPress is not affiliated with any political party or any particular denominational viewpoint. It is, however, a space for individuals interested in Christian publishing to gather. There is a breadth of Christian expression and all who consider themselves Christian are welcome here. In general, if you stick to the topic of publishing, there will not be an issue. If you want to explore other non-publishing topics, please join another forum to do so. Those posting routinely off topic may be corrected by BelieversPress up to the termination of forum posting privileges if needed.
Behaviors that will not be tolerated
Information including but not limited to the items below that BelieversPress rejects for any other reason at our sole discretion. Including but not limited to:
- Impersonating another person or violating the intellectual property or other rights of any person
- Flaming (insulting each other)
No one wants to post at a site where they’ll be insulted or put down. - Racism, culturalism, denominationalism
People want a site free of hatred and intolerance for any reason. - Swearing/vulgar language
This is a community for Christian publishing, and your personal language needs to consider the breadth of Christian expression and avoid offending others with your freedom. - Negative attitudes
Members who don’t flame, post racist comments, or swear can nevertheless have an ill or judgmental effect on the community. Someone who consistently posts negative or judgmental opinions about the site or other members without any constructive criticism is creating an unfriendly atmosphere. Be a creator, not a destroyer. - Unsolicited email
Sending users email when they don’t want it. - Linking
This is a community for Christian publishing, and your external links need to consider the breadth of Christian expression and avoid offending others. - Pornography/nudity

BelieversPress generally does not pre-screen, verify or edit the content posted by users in the Forum(s). However, BelieversPress and its agents reserve the right to investigate any violation of the BelieversPress Website Terms of Use and these Forum Terms of Service and to take appropriate action. BelieversPress has absolute discretion to enforce these terms, including, but not limited to warning users of violations, disabling or suspending message privileges and/ or Forum(s) access, deleting, screening or editing any content, or prohibiting any behavior that does not comply with these terms, including the rules set forth below, or which is otherwise inappropriate for the Forum(s), harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate.
Accuracy of forum information
Although the BelieversPress User Forum(s) are visited by BelieversPress employees and BelieversPress does permit authorized service providers to post answers to questions in the user forum, there is no guarantee that a specific question will be answered or answered properly. The forum(s) are not a substitute for contacting a service provider directly.
Please note that BelieversPress does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, usefulness, non-infringement of intellectual property rights, or quality of any content on the BelieversPress User Forum(s), regardless of who originates that content. You expressly understand and agree that you bear all risks associated with using or relying on that content. BelieversPress will not be liable or responsible in any way for any content posted including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in content, or for any losses or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of or reliance on any content. This disclaimer and limitation on liability is in addition to the disclaimers and limitations contained in the BelieversPress Website Terms of Use.
Links
BelieversPress permits users to post hypertext links to content hosted and maintained by third parties. Although linked sites are not generally reviewed by BelieversPress’moderators, links are subject to treatment like any other type of content posted to the Forum(s). You may not include a link in the Forum that directs users to any content or information that, if posted in the Forum, would constitute a violation of these terms. The linked sites under BelieversPress’ control and your access to any linked site is at your own risk. You should use your own judgment before you use any link or access any linked site. When leaving the Forum(s) using any link provided by a user, you should be aware that BelieversPress terms and policies no longer govern, and, therefore, you should review the applicable terms and policies of that site. If you access a linked site and find that materials to be in violation of these terms, you may report the link as described below. BelieversPress makes no claim or representation regarding, and accepts no responsibility for, the quality, content, nature or reliability of sites accessible by hyperlink from the Forum(s).
Rules
We encourage you to use caution and not reveal information that you do not want to make public in your postings. Any personal information that you post can be obtained and used by others. Anything you post in the Forum, you post at your own risk. You use the Forum at your own risk. In any online forum like Forum(s), it is not possible to be sure that other users are who they say they are, know what they say they know, or are affiliated with whom they say they are affiliated.
By participating in the Forum(s), including the posting of content and sending of messages, you agree that you will not upload, post, or otherwise transmit any content (including text, links, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information) that: (i) is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, vulgar, profane, sexually explicit, obscene, racially or ethnically offensive or otherwise objectionable; (ii )infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party; (iii) constitutes advertising or promotion, junk mail, “spamming,” chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation.; (iv) contains software viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware; (v) provides any non-public information about BelieversPress or any other company or person without the proper authorization to do so; (vi) intentionally interferes with the operation of the Forum(s) or with a fellow user’s message box, without limitation, mail or “post” bombing, news bombing, other flooding techniques, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks, or attempts to avoid messaging blocking; (vii) impersonates any person or entity, including a BelieversPress employee or forges any TCP-IP packet header, e-mail header or any part of a message header; (viii) attacks or insults another Forum(s) user or moderator; (ix) suggests or encourages illegal activity; or (x) violates US or international laws or regulations.
You agree to indemnify and hold BelieversPress, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, post, transmit or make available through the Forum(s) e, your use of the Forum(s), your violation of these terms or the BelieversPress Website Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of another.
Release of Information
BelieversPress also may release information concerning your use of the Forum(s) (including posted content, registration information, and network records) when BelieversPress believes release is appropriate to comply with the law; to enforce or apply BelieversPress’s Website Terms of Use and these terms; to protect BelieversPress’ rights or property, or to protect BelieversPress’ users from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of the Forum(s); or if BelieversPress reasonably believes that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of records without delay. Deliberate attempts by you or someone on your behalf to evade or circumvent your suspension or termination of your rights to use the Forum(s) violates these term, constitutes an unlawful trespass to BelieversPress’ equipment and systems, and may result in legal action. All content (including text, data, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio, video, software, photographs, graphs, typefaces, and other materials) included on this Site and the copyright in same is the property of BelieversPress, its affiliates, or licensors and is protected by U.S. and international laws. The compilation copyright to all the content on this site is the exclusive property of BelieversPress and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
BelieversPress reserves the right to modify, add, or remove any service, feature, product, or information from this Site at any time without prior notice.
These terms and any other policies published by BelieversPress on the Site contain the full and complete understanding of the parties with respect to your use of the Site. BelieversPress will not be bound by any statements made by agents or employees of BelieversPress that conflict with these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions and any dispute arising from or relating to them will be governed and interpreted in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Minnesota. By using the Site, you agree to exclusive personal jurisdiction in the State of Minnesota for any dispute related to your use of the Site.
